Collectively, our Distribution Network delivers an average of 92,000 diapers to 1235 families each month in the Central Florida Community.

Through the Central Florida Diaper Bank’s collaborative efforts we find that distributing diapers and other products through well established community partners also ensures the diapers reach those who need them most. It also provides our community partners with a resource of diapers they are not normally able to provide. This increases the services they can provide to their clients. By partnering with other organizations the Central Florida Diaper Bank ensures that the diapers collected are distributed to infants and toddlers in the most efficient and timely manner.

There are 1,174,000 children in Florida whose parents lack secure employment as of 2018. This is a 6% decrease from 2010.

High Housing Cost Burden

There are 1,562,000 children in Florida living in households with a high housing cost burden, as of 2018. This is a 12% decrease from 2010.

Young Children Not in School

There are 224,000 young children ages 3-4 not in school in Florida, as of 2016-2018. This is a 1% decrease from 2009-2011.

No Health Insurance

There are 339,000 children in Florida in 2018 without health insurance. This is a 5% decrease from 2010.

Single-Parent Families

There are 1,576,000 children in Florida living in single-parent families as of 2018. This is a 2% decrease from 2010.

Lack of High School Diploma

There are 468,000 children in Florida as of 2018 living in a family where the household head lacks a high school diploma. This is a 3% decrease from 2010.

High Poverty Areas

There are 411,000 children in Florida living in high poverty areas between 2014-2018. This is a 2% decrease from 2008-2012.

Teen Births

There are 17 teen births per 1,000 teens in Florida in 2018, compared to 32 per 1,000 in 2010.
